Working Together and Sharing Resources Globally
Our team is comprised of volunteers across the globe from varying professions: students, postdoctoral scholars, professors, and other professionals. We welcome all to join us. Visit About Us to learn more about our leadership team.
Women Supporting Women in the Sciences began in 2018 as a collaborative outreach initiative between graduate students and postdocs from Northwestern University and several institutions in Tanzania. Our co-founders originally met and forged a friendship at the Joint Undertaking for an African Materials Institute in 2016 in Arusha, Tanzania.
Our mission is to support and empower women in STEM globally by working together and sharing resources. We rely solely on volunteers to design content, facilitate workshops and laboratories, and coordinate our efforts.
